Beyond Sprague is a parent consultant organization that works closely with
the Sprague counseling staff to assist students with their future educational
and career goals. Beyond Sprague consultants provide students with up-to-date
information about post-secondary institutions and entrance requirements;
college visitations; PSAT, SAT, and ACT testing dates; college visitations;
scholarships; career exploration; vocational training; and the military
services.
This survey helps the Beyond Sprague consultants to help students gather information on colleges, careers, scholarships, and program of study. This information from the survey is enter into a scholarship data base, so when a scholarship comes into the CRIC, a call slip is sent to the students letting them know that a scholarship has come in, according to their interest, if they are interested come and see Mrs. Arnold in the CRIC.
Interviews:
The consultants visit with senior, and give them information on two and four year colleges, that they indicated they had and interest in. If the student does not know what college—but has an idea of what they want to study, the consultants will give that student information on what colleges will offer that program of study.
