Teachers are offering their time and space to help you in your classes. You do not have to be struggling in the class to attend these sessions. If you just want to get some extra help or improve a grade, this is a great opportunity for you. Study groups are a 'norm' for college students. Attending Tutoring Centers is not a negative - it is an opportunity to improve. In order to become Career and College Ready, practice this important skill for future success.
Emphasis on writing, reading, and study skills in English, health, social studies, and science as well as world languages (Spanish and French).
Students come to have a quiet place to do homework, get help on certain assignments, take tests, work on certain skills, meet with study groups/NHS tutors, get organized, etc. If I can’t help you, I will find someone who can.
If you have any questions about After School Tutoring, drop by my room (114), send me an email firstname.lastname@example.org, or call the school (503-399-3261).
