Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a team-based systematic approach to teaching appropriate positive behaviors to all students in the school. This multi-tiered framework uses data-based decision-making and research-based practices to establish a positive, proactive school climate. The purpose of PBIS is to create an environment where everyone feels welcome, prevent problem behavior, and maximizes learning.
Sprague staff and students continually work hard each and every day to ensure that our school is a safe, welcoming and successful place to learn. At Sprague we set clear schoolwide expectations and we have developed a consistent discipline system in which we use data to drive our decision-making process. In addition, we actively look for opportunities to celebrate and reward the great work that our student and staff are doing.
