Here is a list of information you will need to complete the dream used car project:
  1. URL's for all sources used in the project (VERY IMPORTANT)
  2. Year, make and model
  3. Price <= $15,000 (both asking and relative Kelley Blue Book value)
  4. Mileage
  5. Standard and optional features
    • This list is very important
    • Be sure to collect/record all the relevant information
    • This information will be needed to complete other parts to this project (KBB for ex... see #11)!!
  6. Location (within driving distance... approx. 100 mies)
  7. Color/Images
  8. VIN number
    • This is required
    • It uniquely identifies your car
    • Can't complete the Car Fax Report without it
  9. Car fax report
    • Provide the report (if possible)
    • If no report exists provide:
      • The number of reports and
      • An explanation of what a "report" is
  10. Kelley Blue Book value
    • Condition (provide values for different conditions... if applicable)
    • Private Party vs. Suggested Retail
    • Be sure to match standard and optional features
  11. Loan information
    • APR table
    • Payments <= $300
  12. Amortization spreadsheet
    • Monthly payments for 8 months
    • This provides information in the "yellow box"
