Here is a list of what you should have for your final presentation for the Dream Used Car.

Part 1 Introduction

  1. Introduce your car
  2. Make sure it clearly and attractively displays all the features, especially required information

Part 2 Kelley Blue Book

  1. Goal: Show your car is a good value!
    • If KBB is less than asking price, make sure you indicate you have bargaining power!!
  2. Clearly and attractively displays the Kelley Blue Book information
  3. It should show that the information from KBB was accurately selected for your car

Part 3 Loan Information

  1. Clearly displays:
    • Loan amount (must be less than or equal to $300.00 per month)
    • Interest rate
    • Loan term
    • APR table
  2. Must be accurate for Dealer vs. Private Party purchase

Part 4 Amortization Information

  1. Use Amort2003.xls to calculate
  2. Montlhly payment must match the payment in Part 3
  3. Record the loan activity for the first 8 months
  4. This will copy the "yellow box" with the summary information

Part 5 Concluding statement

  1. Conclusion that clearly revisits the most convincing arguments in your project
  2. Restating and summarizing for final clarity is a powerful way to end your project
  3. Must use a bulleted list in some way for clear, concise and easy to follow format

Part 6 Sources

  1. List all sources used in the project
  2. All online resource URL's provided (NO LONG URL'S ALLOWED)
  3. Please include a credit to the students who created the amort2003 spreadsheet.
