To make a blog do the following:
- Go to blogger
- Select CREATE A BLOG
- Blog title- Required: your last name Skills 2 and year (I use school year... thus 2011
- Example: Adkins Skills 2 11
- Blog address- (URL)- Required: name-skils2-year
- Example: adkins-skills2-11
- *You may need to add a number for uniqueness
- Example: adkins2-skills2-11 if first choice is not available
- Choose template
- Don't get bogged down on this!!!
- You can change at any time without penalty (pick one and go!!!!)
- Once you've chosen you have a blog. You can start posting!
Posting
- Title: My first post
- Body: This is my first post
- Publish your post and view your blog
- You have successfully added a post
Edit your post
- Select the "pencil" below your post
- This lets you edit the post and now add detail
- Here is a link to my example
- This example was posted in fall of 2009. I am using it to show how blogs can be used to share information
- Read my post. Use my blog as an example for your first post
Adding more info... your first post should have:
- An uploaded image you like :)
- Here is a link to my first post example
- 2 to 3 paragraphs about the image (like my dog Charlie)
- Chosen different font sizes, colors and used italicized text
- A link to another site that is related to your image in some way
