Intro:
Editing images for the web is an important skill. In this activity you will be building 2 versions of each image; one thumbnail, one "large".
Starting Details:
- You will find a folder of images to use on the spraguetech2 server in "files to copy"
- \\spraguetech2\shared\Adkins\files to copy\Web1\media\Roosevelt Princess
- Copy the folder to your thawspace and make 2 folders inside, one called "thumbnails" and one called "large"
- Don't overwrite original images! Always keep a copy of your original images
Thumbnails:
- Crop to 100px by 150px (width and height)
- The goal is to make all thumbnails look uniform and size correctly
- Save for web so they are compressed to 5kb or less
- Make sure to save in the thumbnail folder
Large images:
- Crop to 250px by 350px (width and height)
- Uniform look and feel once again
- Save for web and compress to under 30kb
- Save in the large folder
