Introduction:

Our business client this semester is "The Physician's Building Group"

This assignment will help prepare us for our client meeting and we have 2 goals:

1. Familarize ourselves with websites that offer similar services
2. Provide our client with websites to review so they will be prepared for our meeting too

Procedure:

• You may work alone or with a partner. I encourage you to pair up so you can share ideas and speed up the process
• Use the search engine for your choice to find "physician's"or "medical service" websites and critique what you find
  • Please read the word document in "files to copy" for additional information about their business
  • It isn't easy to tell exactly what we are looking for... but finding what is on the web for medical services should help us and our client

Requirements:

• Find websites in the Salem area that offer similar type services
• Find at least one outside the Oregon/Washington area as well for ideas from other geographical regions.

Things to consider:

1. Organization and layout of pages
2. What content/services are offered on these sites
3. Be prepared to offer a carefully worded critique why you chose this site

Recording:

Day 1 Monday March 28- Personal webpage preparation

1. Prepare a web page (you will link to from your personal site) and record the URL from 5- 7 websites you reviewed
2. Record comments from the top 3 you think the client should consider. You will have access to HUNDREDS of sites based on her information. FIND 3 YOU ACTUALLY LIKE.
3. FOR THESE 3... Provide MULTIPLE COMMENTS to explain why this site should be reviewed
4. Be as specific as possible
5. Think about:
   • layout/design
   • menu/navigation
   • color shemes
   • content offered is very important
     • It will provide our client with ideas for their own.

Day 2 Wednesday March 30- Submitting your work

1. Copy/paste information into this form that will be shared with our client
2. Choose the top 2 sites you want the client to see (tough to do, but necessary)
3. Include your names, the URL's and comments as indicated in the form
