Top 4
- 1.) roncooperphotography.com
-- Top navigation, Content at the bottom, with no footer. Pictures are on the left, with information on the right. In gallery; pictures are displayed to the right with purchasing information to the left. Contact information is “short and sweet” and is very to the point. Background color is white, which makes the images stand out and complement his work.
- 2.) cynthiaowensphotography.com
-- Very contrasting menu and simple navigation, with sample pictures on the home page. Easy to use box formatting, easy to understand (IE Seniors text on image), contact info on footer. In content, images are separated into thumbnails that upon being clicked, turn into a slide show.
- 3.) willamettephoto.com
--Flash based website. Navigation is aimed towards the top, with a dark and soft color scheme that matches with the rest of the page, focusing your eyes and attention to the changing display of pictures in the middle. Images are in thumbnails at the bottom of page, content fades into the content box with a soft brown. Colors contrast with each other.
- 4.) nickdanilov.com
-- Flash based website. Image browsing is admirable. Entire page lies within the center of your screen, making it look nicer. Navigation is at the bottom, with the content on the top under the header. Inside of the content area, the image links are on the right, with the image display on the left. (Although this is an artist’s website, you could use this format as a gallery for photography pictures.) Neat and organized overall.
